Leader of Majority in Kenyan parliament, Aden Duale, on Saturday claimed that the opposition coalition – National Super Alliance (NASA), plans to set up a vote-tallying station in Tanzania during the August general elections.

He spoke at Bomas of Kenya during the Jubilee National Delegates Conference where president Uhuru Kenyatta was endorsed as the 2017 presidential candidate.

Earlier in the day, Kenyatta wa endorsed separately by KANU and the Economic Development Party (EDP) at Kasarani stadium and Nyayo stadium respectively.

However, the Garissa Township MP  did not substantiate his claims.

Shortly after Mr Kenyatta was endorsed, he named his current deputy, William Samoei Arap Ruto, as his running mate.

At Kasarani, KANU chairman Gedion Moi led the delegates in endorsing Mr Kenyatta and conspicuously avoided making any mention of Mr Ruto.  Ruto and Moi are long time political nemesis who have openly been battling for supremacy in the Rift Valley.
