BY BMJ MURIITHI

The guessing game is over and Charity Ngilu is back with a bang (or is it?). This time around, she has joined the National Super Alliance (NASA) and is breathing fire and brimstone saying her former bosses, Uhuruto, are extremely corrupt.

“Hawa wawili ni tumbo zao mbele, wananchi nyuma. Mnajua ni nani alichukua hata viwanja vya watoto wa shule,” she told a NASA rally in Kakamega on Saturday.

Ngilu, a former Lands Cabinet secretary who was suspended by Jubilee government on allegations of corruption, has in the past shown great contempt for Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and it remains to be seen the exact role she will play in the coalition whose top leadership is male dominated .

Saturday, she equated NASA to the former coalition party (NARC) which propelled Mr Mwai Kibaki into presidency in 2002. Ngilu, best known as Mamam Rainbow, was one of the NARC coalition partners and has ran for president in the past
