Kenyans on social media can’t get enough of this. Kenyan dailies reported that there was drama in Nandi County on Sunday when Muhoho Kenyatta, son to President Uhuru Kenyatta, was unable to deliver a speech in Kiswahili.
“Muhoho Kenyatta, who had accompanied Deputy President William Ruto to a campaign rally in the county, had tongues wagging about his linguistic incapability,” wrote The Standard.
According to the paper, the President’s son had to use his phone to read a short speech after he was unable to read the formal one. The video that went viral was not received well by a section of Kenyans who bashed him for not being fluent in the national language.
“Others noted that Muhoho had gone through the IGCSE system of education and was therefore, not conversant with the language,” the paper wrote.
