Below is a testimony from a person who only introduced him/herself as CJ

From C.J

“I BELIEVE IN YOUR GOD STEVE. I told you about my pain through the phone. I told you I don’t have faith anymore….I’m the kind that keeps everything to themselves and smile like nothing is going on…but on that  day, I don’t know how I opened up…You stopped everything you were doing and we prayed about 4 times.

I had no Faith coz I visited major hospitals here in USA where the different machines could not find anything. I was in extreme pain but I thought it’s normal to me and I accepted my painful life. But that was not true because now I am pain free. I pushed people away from me so as not to see me in pain but Your God did it for me.

MAY HE CONTINUE USING YOU. THANK YOU AND MORE BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I still don’t believe yet that I can sleep without pain meds… your God came Himself… I shed tears of Joy🙏🙏🙏🙏 and I will Forever be Grateful.”

BY BMJ MURIITHI

Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga left the country Saturday night for the United States. The plane carrying Mr Odinga is scheduled to land Sunday evening at Raleigh-Durham Airport in North Carolina.

He is scheduled to meet Kenyans in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Monday night and deliver a speech at Duke University in Durham on Tuesday.

Speaking to Kenya Satellite News Network by phone, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader said he would be in the US for a total of four days and would leave Raleigh on Wednesday as he has another engagement in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“I won’t be in US for long this time around,” he said.

On Friday, Captain (Rtd) George Njue, who is the Chairman of the organizing Committee for the Monday evening event, told this reporter that Kenyans in North Carolina were eagerly waiting for the opposition leader.

“He has respectively agreed to spend the evening with us and we look forward to his arrival. We will be receiving him at the airport on Sunday night,” said Capt Njue.

Last month, Mr Odinga’s trip to North Carolina was called off due to hurricane Florence.

“The postponement is due to the extreme weather conditions building up in the US state of North Carolina,” his spokesman Dennis Onyango said in a statement.

He had also been scheduled to give a lecture at Georgetown University in Washington DC.

On Saturday, Odinga left soon after attending the Mashujaa Day celebrations held at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega on a day that he was appointed Agfrican Uninion’s High Representative for Infrastructure Development.

According to Duke University, the theme of Mr Odinga’s speech, is;  “Africa: A Time for Sustained Optimism?”

The former Kenyan PM will be discussing ways in which the African Continent can continue striving to reach sustainable growth, among other things.

Mr Odinga will speak at 5:30pm at the Rubenstein Library Holsti-Anderson Family Assembly, Room 153.

Duke University is a private, non-profit, research university located in Durham, North Carolina. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892.

This is Odinga’s first trip to US since the much publicized “Handshake” between him and his hitherto nemesis, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
