Lady Jaydee talks about her suicidal post

Published

on

On September 26th 2018, Tanzanian songbird Lady Jaydee scared her fans on social media when she announced that she had contemplated taking her own life.

The ‘Yahaya’ hit maker took to Twitter to reveal that she was contemplating ingesting poison but only restrained herself after remembering how far she has come.

Lady Jaydee has finally opened up about contemplating suicide. She first apologized for tweeting about her suicidal thoughts without going into the details about what pushed her to contemplate taking her own life.

“First of all, I apologize. It was just a tweet. I choose not to talk about it,” said Jaydee during an interview with LilOmmy.

She added that;

“I don’t think a tweet like that can make someone give up. There are people that i looked up to in music who had done bad things, they had fallen, they went through trouble. But that gave me strength more than weakness. Like Whitney Houston, who is my number one. If she decided to get into drugs, I haven’t gotten into drugs. If anyone decides to get into something by following a bad example, then that’s their decision, they shouldn’t blame anyone. You are the one to choose what’s good for you. There are things you do that turn out to be lessons.”

Multitalented BBC journalist Ferdinand Omondi is a good brother to his siblings.

Omondi and his siblings lost their parents when they were still young and he had to take up the role of a father and mother.

The former KTN reporter while celebrating his younger brother’s graduation, shared an emotional post, narrating what they’ve gone through, leaving many in tears.

I’m a proud father/brother. He lost his father at 5. Mum at age 11. Today, our last born, Jok Owino, graduates with a BSc in Meteorology. We thank God. Now give him a job, Kenya,’ Omondi wrote in part accompanied by the pic below.

Jerome Owino

He continued,

I am literally in tears. When we lost our parents, the future looked so bleak. I had no idea how I was going to school my siblings. I sacrificed a lot. That my younger siblings got degrees before me is a treasure I will take to my grave. I know I made mum and dad proud. Life has thrown me roses, and with a fair share of thorns. Only God and a few people know how I masked the pain with laughter. Thanks to everyone who was supportive of my personal journey and professional career. I will never be able to show how grateful I am. It’s your day, Jerome. Now go out there and shine like a Diamond.

Frankie and Corazon

Well, Kwamboka posted a photo goofing around with Frankie and confessed her love for him.

The fitness trainer and father of three responded to his lover’s post and he wrote,

Forever & a Day 🖤

One of Kwamboka’s followers criticised her relationship with Frankie.

Hata Maureen alikuwa hapo. same story. I got only one word for you, second wives never stay long, out of experience. But I wish you nothing but the best.

The mother of one clapped back at the critic, telling her off.

‘And so? My friend, if you want to hate have the balls to just do it, not coat it with “you wish me the best bla bla” I don’t need your wishes. I’ve lived my entire life without them cheers,’ read Kwamboka’s response.

queen_d16 Love has become complicated. If you was raised by both parents in the house, why would you want your kids to be raised by a single parent? Ego is what makes us break up most times and have excuses like we are not compatible or never meant to be! Wouldn’t it be nice if we never had kids with a knowledge of we will anyway not be together in the near future???? Just a thought.
