Vera: I used contraceptives to avoid getting Otile’s babies

Published

Socialite Vera Sidika has opened up on her failed relationship with musician Otile Brown with new claims that the singer dumped her after realising she was using birth control.

Vera claim that Otile was so desperate to get her pregnant in order to secure a future with her but she was keen not to be used, hence decided to put herself on birth control to test the singer’s patience.

“We used to have sex and after he finished, he would keep his member inside me to make sure that every drop counted in his attempt to make me pregnant. I didn’t trust him, so I took contraceptives,” Vera told a local gossip publication.

‘WASTED HER TIME’

Vera, who now says she doesn’t want anything to do with 27 year-old musician, went on to insist that she is ripe and ready to settle down and have babies with the right man.

“I am focused on settling down. I am 29 years old now, have slowed down and want to settle down, get married and have babies. I thought Otile was the one, but at 27 years I didn’t think he was ready to be a father,” she added.

The two broke up just two weeks after patching up in Dubai and have been embarrassing themselves on social media with blame games.

SH500K LOAN

Vera claims Otile asked her to lend him Sh500,000 to enable him acquire a new ride.

“It ended up looking like the only reason he came back was for the money. How do you give a man who is not your husband 500k. Otile is emotionally immature.”

Kenyan marries another man in USA

Published

on

In a trend where Kenyan men are getting married to other men in countries whose laws allow it, a Nakuru man has tied the knot to his American boyfriend.

The two got married in Michigan in the US on Saturday afternoon.

Soon after the event, the two were seen at the Square’s gardens kissing and fondling in public as friends and family members cheered.

Same-sex marriage was legalised in Michigan last June in a landmark US Supreme Court ruling, which struck down states’ bans on gay or lesbian marriages between two people “as long as they love each other”.

According to a family member who spoke to the Daily Nation on condition of anonymity, the Kenyan man met his ‘fiancé’” in Atlanta, Georgia.

However, a Kenyan marriage and family counsellor immediately criticised the wedding.

Pastor Philip Kitoto, of the International Christian Centre, Nairobi, said: “Culturally and biblically, marriage and sexual relations between people of the same sex is a sin.”

“The Bible is clear that God created us in his image; He created us male and female. Therefore, in the Book of Leviticus 18:22 He warns men: ‘Do not have sex relations with a man as one does with a woman’. God calls this an abomination.”

Mr Kararu Ririe, a close friend of the couple and a confessed gay Kenyan residing in California, tweeted shortly after attending the wedding: “This afternoon I had a chance to congratulate my friend and his husband on the occasion of their marriage. It is a rare thing to see a Kenyan man so courageous! Congratulations.”

One of the men lived in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to California.

Pst Kitoto added in his reaction: “For the man and a woman, sex was not only meant for pleasure but also for procreation.

“That is why, in Romans 1:27-32, the Bible tells us that as mankind walked in disobedience to the commands of God, this led to a depraved mind where men lusted after other men and women after their own kind. They not only burned with passion for each other but they also recommended the same practice for others.”

“What we need to understand is that God, in his love for us, still loves the sinner. However, he hates  sin. I believe when we turn to him in repentance, he will welcome us back.”

Soon after taking the vows, the two posted the following multiple hashtags — some of which are very popular within the gay community in the US — on his Twitter handle and Facebook page: #HappilyMarried #NewlyWed #GayCouple #GayHusbands #2Hubbies #Blessed #JewishHubby #ChristianHubby #Hubby1 #Hubby2 #4Ever1 #InGodsMath #GetItRight #NoWife #ThankYou!”

When I was poached by Citizen TV in 2010, I had lost so much weight.

I weighed 56 kilos at the time after having my baby.

This, the Citizen TV journalist explained, was after the birth of her first born son, Josh.

I didn´t look nice by the way, but everyone was like how did you lose after having a baby?

What a lot of people didn´t know was that the birth of my first child took a toll on me emotionally and mentally.

Many might have been impressed by how fast she lost her baby weight which to ladies, is a major concern especially for good looks.

However, it wasn´t a result of something good that had happened.

So I went through an episode of post-natal depression so I couldn´t eat, I couldn´t function.

It was hard for me.

TV Queen, Lilian Muli actually hardly ate well and it took a toll on her.

The produce

However, all these had its good side.

¨Slim Possible¨ was born soon after.

When I finally got over that I got into that serious healthy eating program and I really watched how I ate and worked out religiously.

So when I walked into Citizen TV my boss was like ´Hold up, how old is your baby?´

And he asked ´How are you this tiny?´

So I told him about my depression and my deliberate decision to put on weight.

And then he said ´Okay fine, you are the person we have been looking for.´

And so…Slim possible was born.

´Slim Possible´ is a show on weight loss.
