December was a very dark month for me, Lilian Muli shares her struggles

Published

on

Citizen TV personality Lilian Muli has opened on the struggles she went through as the year 2018 drew to a close.

Through a post on Instagram, the vivacious anchor stated that the month of December was a dark period for her.

She explained that she felt ‘broken beyond repair” but is purposing to shut out the negativity and embrace ‘self-love’

“December was a very dark month for me I felt broken beyond repair; but God is fixing that. I decided to celebrate myself because I realized we seek the validation of people so much and sometimes forget that self-Love is key.

“I therefore dared to do things differently and I purposed to shout to the world that I am so proud of what I’ve achieved over the years and I’m determined to do even better. I have started a new journey of self-discovery and I invite you to walk with me as I unveil my new projects. Keep it here for the unveiling. Lillian Muli the brand,” wrote Muli.

Her sentiments come hot on the heels of her infamous breakup with lover Jared Nevaton over claims the tycoon was a ‘community husband.’

“I’m officially single and will now focus on raising my boys. As public figures we meet all sorts of people and most just want trophies whether you are well known or not be very careful who you allow into your life don’t go giving your heart to everyone.

“Sociopaths will keep you entangled in their web of lies and you will be one of their many victims. When you actually believe someone is true to you only to find out they are community husbands you are safer stepping aside.

“Nobody should ever tag me in posts about Jared Ombongi who has previously been associated with me I disassociate myself from such links from today. As politicians say “I would rather die” than be linked to a polygamist! Narcissism is real. Stay woke.

“I speak out because no one will ever embarrass me again. People ask why put your stuff out there? Well it’s because next time you see Mr Community husband don’t go saying that’s Lillian’s man.

“I am actually very blessed I have two wonderful men in my life Joshua Munene and Liam Francis and that’s all I need,” she wrote.

Crucial lessons Kenyans can learn from Alex Mwakideu’s cheating scandal

Published

on

As you may or may not know, a few days ago, popular YouTuber and blogger Edgar Obare exposed the philandering ways of Milele FM radio presenter Alex Mwakideu.

Obare, who is known to expose public figures, shared Instagram screenshots that showed Mwakideu arranging for a meet up with his alleged side chic – Irene Barungi – so that they can do the nasty.

In the leaked conversations, the two are seen referring to each other as ‘babe’ before the media personality asks for a teaser of what awaits him.

When the scandal broke out, many people, including myself, expected Mwakideu to come out guns blazing and claim that the conversation is fake while pointing a finger at his detractors but none of that happened.

Instead, he opted to keep quiet and acted like he was not the talk of the town. I know this because I kept checking his social media accounts for a statement. Before we knew it, Kenyans had forgotten about the scandal.

There’s a crucial lesson that other people who are in the limelight and Kenyans in general can learn from all this and that is the fact that the more you talk about something is the more it sticks in people’s minds.

Truth is that if Mwakideu had gone the Jalang’o way and issued a statement on his social media accounts, we would still be talking about it to date because, well, he has given us a reason to continue talking about it.

By completely avoiding the story, despite the criticism he got on social media, it died a natural death and that means that it’s up to whoever who saw the screenshots to decide if the presenter was really sleeping with his colleague.

And to be honest, it doesn’t really matter whether they are having an affair or not because they are of legal age and I believe they are not mentally incapacitated.
