Why Anita Nderu doesn’t want to get married and get kids anytime soon

Published

on

Days after celebrating her 29th birthday in a lovely pink pajama-themed party, Capital FM host Anita Nderu has come out to share that she’s not really ready to settle down and start a family.

Taking to social media, the radio presenter hinted why she’s not in a hurry to start a family despite nearing 30 years.

A very happy birthday to probably the coolest brother to grace the world back in the 80’s but remains forever young! You take care of your siblings with so much patience and love. I love how we have all at one point or another lived in your house, thrown parties and wrecked your house, broken your things, “borrowed” your things, cleared out your fridge then gone back to our other homes

Regarding her take to start a family later, Nderu said that it’s something serious which needs a lot of planning and thinking.

“I don’t think most people realize how big a responsibility having children is, so i am not willing to bring anyone into this world until i am sure that i can take great care of him,” she said.

Joyce Omondi opens up how she’s very different from her lover Waihiga

Published

Citizen TV’s Waihiga Mwaura and Joyce Omondi have been together for almost five years now and they are still goals.

The two are always visibly in love and Kenyans have always awed their relationship which is always blossoming. Omondi revealed that though the two are madly in love with each other, they are slightly different people.

Speaking on the Trend, she opened up about her man likes a lot of “noise” while she’s a down low person.

“Waihiga is an extrovert. He is lit. Me, I’m all about quietness. When you come in the house and I’m alone, I’ll have one electronic turned on. Waihiga will have the news on, he is listening to music and then he as like a laptop and he is working. To me that’s chaos but for him, that’s how he functions,” she said.

Omondi and news anchor walked down the aisle in 2015 in an exclusive wedding.

Televangelist James Ng’ang’a arrested for “threatening Linus Kaikai”

Published

on

Controversial televangelist James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism was Sunday night arrested for threatening Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai.

Pastor Ng’ang’a was picked up from his church in Nairobi at the junction of Haile Selassie Avenue and Mombasa Road and locked up at Muthaiga Police Station after Kaikai had complained he felt threatened following a video footage that the pastor produced attacking him.
Police said he was praying with other worshipers when he was picked up after being informed of his crime at about 11pm.
Police said Ng’ang’a will be arraigned later.

In a viral video released last week, the pastor, dressed in military-like regalia and calling himself a “Chief General Commander” threatened unexplained “consequences” believed to be directed at Kaikai.
Kaikai, who is one of the panelists in a news show, News Gang, went viral with his take seeking to regulate pastors he referred to as spiritual fraudsters who are profiting off unsuspecting Kenyans.
“The people behind these so called churches have gone rogue in the name of Jesus, in the name of God,” Kaikai said.

“We are dealing with thieves not men of God. These are cold blooded evangelical vampires living off the blood of their flock in the name of Jesus. They are conmen who must have their date with our police and our law courts. Some of them preach prosperity but only they profit.”
“To these characters, Sunday, a day ordained as the Lord’s Day of rest and worship has become the most profitable day on the trading floor. Offerings flow like a mighty river and onward into their private accounts in the Lord’s name.”

Kaikai listed few instances when pastors have made the news for conning members of their churches and minting millions off illegal schemes.
This prompted Ng’ang’a to shoot his video with the attacks on Kaikai.
“I am telling you like a Chief General Commander, you have to stop that, if you don’t stop you will face the consequences…” said Pastor Ng’ang’a.
“…. I can’t hide you but you can hide me.”

DJ Mo slams haters for fueling rumours of his ‘troubled’ marriage to Size 8

Published

on

Gospel DJ Mo has for the first time responded to rumours of him ‘cheating’ on his wife of five years, celebrated gospel musician Size 8 Reborn.

Sometime last year rumors circulated alleging that Size 8 had walked out of their matrimonial home after she found out Mo’s alleged infidelity.

The claims were almost made believable when DJ Mo later appeared on NTV’s weekly comedy show, The Wicked Edition, where he admitted that at some point in their marriage, Size 8 left their home from for about a week after a disagreement.

Size 8 would later appear in a radio interview to defend her husband, terming the claims as false although she admitted that their marriage is not perfect.

‘HATUACHANI’

All this time DJ Mo remained silent on the allegations until recently when he weighed in on the matter while attending the Malaika Tribute Awards.

While telling off his critics, DJ Mo said they should be ashamed of themselves for fueling the rumours as his family is still intact.

“Everyone is entitled to their opinion and so if we are still together someone should be ashamed. Hatuachani,” DJ Mo said.

The couple, who got married in a private civil wedding at the Attorney General’s Chambers, just weeks after Size 8 announced her salvation, are blessed with one daughter Wamboi.
