VIDEO: “Nikikohoa mnaitika,” Pastor Ng’ang’a loses his cool at the pulpit, calls his Bishops ‘taka taka’ and stupid

Published

Controversial televangelist James Maina Ng’ang’a has gone berserk and unloaded expletives on his bishops in front of his stunned congregation.

In an unprecedented “Sermon” recorded on a 6-minute video clip, the Neno Evangelism Centre preacher unleashed insult after another, accusing some bishops of disrespecting his wife.

He starts by telling them to respect his wife or he will kick them out.

“If you are not going to respect my wife I will kick you out of my Ministry it doesn’t matter who you are. This time I will show you my power. If you don’t respect her, leave my Church and go start your own wajinga hawa,” he says.

It is not clear when the video was taken although it was shot after his many controversies, going by his statements.

He continues to tell them that they found him there when they came with their wives who had matuta (unkempt hair).

“You have become rich in my Church; stupid, arrogant, useless people, taka taka, rubbish. There is nothing you can tell me.”

He claims that, that is the reason the media has been fighting him instead of them.

“They want to bring Neno down because I’m the founder.”

He pauses and asks them if they think “you can circumcise me”?

“I want full respect, when I cough you answer, just the same way you did when you came here with torn clothes, and you’re rich because of me.”

Here is the video:

Ng’ang’a further stated that his name was being tarnished because of his ministry and that the devil was working day and night to destroy it.

“You came to this church in rags and unkempt hair. I want full respect…nikikohoa unaitika (whenever I cough you should answer),” he added.

In March this year, Ng’ang’a was once again on the spot after hitting out at Director of Strategy & Innovation Royal Media Services Linus Kaikai after the latter suggested that only preachers with a Degree in Theology should be allowed to spread God’s word.

The apostle warned Kaikai to steer clear of church matters or else he would face the consequences.

Celestine Ndinda, aka Wakavinye, wife to Comedian Njugush, has a few words of advice to her fans. She urges them that having a small circle of friends is a wise thing to do, especially if you live in Nairobi.

 Wakavinye has supported her husband since their early days, even before all the fame. Njugush feels lucky to have her as a wife.

The two have sustained same longtime friends and Celestine shares the little secret for that.

She says;

“I have learnt that in life, you need to learn at most five close friends.

 By doing this, be sure that the first three will help you when you are in need.”

She further adds having too many friends also drains you financially

“Imagine all those friends have birthdays and they need you to show up, yaani every time you are planning of how to spend unlike when you have a small circle.”

And there is also societal pressure to have many friends;

“Ata kama umesota, it is hard to communicate that to a big number of people because some will gossip about you and most of them show up when you have a party, but when you are in a problem, you will not have them around,” she said.

She also insists on being yourself, don’t compete

“When you compete with your friends, you will get exhausted. So go with your pace.”

Some of the couple’s long-time close friends include; Abel Mutua and his wife Judy Nyawira, Philip and his wife Cate Actress.
