Ida Odinga caught on tape ‘stealing’ neighbour’s overhanging fruits – VIDEO

Published

on

An undated video of Opposition leader Raila Odinga’s wife Ida Odinga plucking her neighbour’s fruits has gone viral on social media.

In the clip, Ida is seen alongside a man plucking overhanging loquats across a wooden fence.

With a cheeky smile on her face, Ida is heard asking for a basin to store her loot.

Her daughter Rosemary briefly comes into view and playfully calls her mum and her male accomplice ‘thieves’.

The man then turns around and say that ‘Canaan’ is just ahead.

Ida then answers him by saying that they have already reached ‘Canaan’.

It is not clear when the video was recorded.

Nimrod Taabu parades his cooking skills while preparing special dinner for wife

Published

on

Nimrod Taabu is not just good with reading the Swahili news; but also a good cook who has left many men feeling the pressure after parading his cooking skills!

Well, just like a good husband Nimrod took his time to prepare what looks like a yummy vegetable dinner with some rice.

As seen on his Twitter, Nimrod left his fans salivating with photos of the finished product proving that away from TV; he might as well start a 5 star hostel!

This is however one of the very few times Nimrod has come out to share any information about his wife on social media.

Nimrod Taabu’s dinner

Tulieni sasa. This is what i was doing for her. Amesema tukimaliza kula nijifunge mask ya doktari kwa macho…😉

Nimrod’s mum

Well, having been raised by a mother (Alice Taabu) who was not only a chef but a TV host for a cooking show proves that Nimrod was raised right! This means he probably spent most of his time in the kitchen while his mum prepared food; and of course learnt one or two things about the kitchen.

For this reason Nimrod Taabu’s wife must feel like the luckiest woman in the world especially with her husband handy in the kitchen!

Husband material!

For those doubting his skills, Nimrod challenged his colleagues/friends Linus Kaikai, Jageyo; Rashid Abdalla among others to show what they are made of!

However looking at the photos of the meals prepared by Taabu, I can understand why the ‘boys club’ members could not accept the online challenge.

The NTV news anchor however joins the list of romantic men in Kenya; and truth is they don’t make them like they used to before! Probably the younger generation of men should try and learn a thing from Nimrod who has proven that men can also belong in the kitchen!

BY KEVIN KOECH

Kenya Film Classification Board CEO Ezekiel Mutua has recalled the day her was fired by Nation Media Group.

In a tweet, the ‘moral police’ disclosed that a dismissal letter was dropped at his desk back in 2002, bringing his 9 years stay at Nation Centre to an abrupt end.

“In February 2002 a letter was dropped at my desk at the 3rd fl, Nation Centre. It was a summary dismissal. My 9 years at the NMG had come to an abrupt & painful end.

“I walked out with nothing but faith. Today I am glad they sacked me. May God be with all those who have been fired” tweeted Ezekiel Mutua.

Mutua’s revelation comes just two days after Nation Media Group laid-off a number of its employees over financial instability brought about by the COVID-19.

In 2018, Mutua disclosed that his letter to His Highness the Aga Khan and the NMG board over poor pay of journalists and corruption in the media rendered him jobless.

“I was sacked at NMG in 2002 (summary dismissal) after I differed with the NMG management. The bone of contention was a letter I had written to His Highness the Aga Khan and the NMG board over poor pay of journalists and corruption in the media.

“I was the Secretary General of the Kenya Union of Journalists but the management was treating me like a mere employee and threatening me with a sack.

“When I left Nation Centre in February 2002 many journalists celebrated. Few said a word in my defense. Many were used by media owners to tarnish my name. Ever since the media has tried to destroy me at every turn but God has protected me” said Mutua.

Michelle Ntalami sets record straight days after fueling lesbianism rumors with Makena Njeri

Published

on

Last week, Michelle Ntalami and Makena Njeri sparked speculations that they were an item after Makena serenaded the Marini Naturals’ CEO with sweet words on her birthday.

Now, the Nairobi-born entrepreneur has decided to clear the air on the issue once and for all, calling out clout chasers for “affixing labels on people who are not what they call them”.

Michelle articulated that relationships’ dynamics are too complex for someone to just slap a label on another person. Before clarifying:

If I haven’t said it myself, you have no right to go labeling me this or that. I hardly address trolls. But today I’m setting the record straight! Get this from both the Queen and the horse’s mouth; I AM NOT WHAT YOU ARE LABELLING ME.

This was all she had to stay, before categorically stating “she is not here to explain her life to anybody nor admit to any allegations leveled against her”.

When I work hard, you troll. When I play hard, you troll. When I love hard, you troll. TF?

The young entrepreneur went ahead to confess to her fans that “she never signed up to be anyone’s role model”.

So if her life is a bother to anyone, then they could as well pack and leave.

I signed up to live my dream! If this has inspired others along the way, great! So pick what floats your boat about me and move with it. But don’t tell me how I should live my life, what I should ‘admit’ to or what position you reckon I like.
