This week, in another mark of greatness, Sunday 26th December-Tuesday of 28th December 2021 manifested one more glittering moment for The Kenya Airlift Program as close to 30 students who are part of the initiative congregated at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with family, friends, and well-wishers bidding them best wishes as they boarded their flights to the US.

The group is part of a strong contingent of the January 2022 cohort of this award-winning program that is slowly transforming the lives of brilliant young Kenyans.

Leading the front, the Programs Director of Appstec America Bob Mwiti accompanied by his co-founder of the airlift program, Abogeta West MCA and shrewd academician-turned politician Honorable DMK were all joy and smiles as they escorted these students to the airport.

The dynamic duo has been the brains behind the program that has been dubbed ‘The Modern Tom Mboya Initiative,’ which helped Kenyan students’ study in USA in the 1960s.

The program has increasingly established itself as a household name for anyone looking for graduate study opportunities in the US in business and IT related courses.

The group travelling to the US for the spring 2022 semester add up to the growing list of other students studying at different universities in the US courtesy of the Kenya Airlift Program. For a project that is just three years old, this commendable feat is an explicit indication that the future looks even more promising.
