Musician and singer Bahati has said he is not keen on flying out of the country to perform.
Speaking to the media at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport as he was flying out to Uganda, Bahati said he has cancelled two tours to the United States as he was getting “more value at home.”
” I have cancelled tours to the US twice this year because I am getting more value at home. I have brands that I am endorsing so if I leave the country, I need to leave them at the right place. That is why I am usually not in a rush to perform outside Kenya, ” he said adding,
“If you have to perform outside of Kenya, let it be well paying, dont just go so that you can take good photos, or so that people can see you have gone. So when you see me going outside, it is well paying, those who know me know that I am very business oriented. ” he said.
Bahati and his wife Diana welcome their baby girl few weeks ago. He has said he will reveal the daughter’s face on her Instagram page Malkia Bahati.
