Nasra Yusuff, a stand-up comedian, and her husband, Director Rashid, have revealed that they are expecting their first child.
The soon-to-be first-time parents could not conceal their excitement as they shared the news on their YouTube channel, clarifying that it was not a prank like they had done previously.
Nasra, a comedian with the Churchill Show, turned to Instagram to express her joy at the prospect of becoming a mother. After learning she was expecting, Nasra said she fell in love with the human she was carrying right away.
“This is the happiest I have been in a long time. I’m in love with a human I haven’t met yet… can’t wait to meet you my baby… imagine having a child with the love of your life. I love you @director_rashid, Vid up on Nasrashid,” Nasra Yusuff shared.
Director Rashid stated that he had been waiting for such information for a long time, and that the adventure had now begun. He also expressed pleasure for their new chapter in their marriage and reassured his wife of his love for her.
“I have been waiting for this to happen for a while and Finally Allah has made it happen Alhamdulillah. I Can’t wait to meet you my baby. You will be cute like your mother @nasrayusuff … I love you,” he wrote.
“I know you guys have been waiting for such news for a while. The last time najua tuliwaprank. But now it’s not a prank. We are serious, tunasubiri kukua wazazi,” added Rashid.
Nasra expressed optimism that Rashid will be an excellent father to their child, stating that he had a long wait to become a father.
“I think you will be the best father ever like for real. This guy has been waiting for this moment for the longest ever,” she shared.
The celebrity pair also stated that their fans will be invited to accompany them on their pregnancy journey.
