Oduk who is deemed favorite has already been endorsed by various youth and women groups in the ward that boasts of close to 25,000 votes.
Last week, he met various church leaders and elders from the ward where he was unanimously endorsed for the seat.
He is set to battle for the ODM ticket against incumbent David Mberia and 6 other aspirants.
Oduk is making his first stab at the seat and has been ranked the first by various opinion polls done by party stalwarts in the ward.
One of key manifesto is advocating for actualization of the ward, business opportunities to young people and emphasis on street lighting.
“I will transform the status of Karen; better roads, housing and regular supply of clean water. Time is over for dirty politics playing cards with what is rightfully for Karen residents,” he said when called for comments.
