DJ Creme Dela Creme cleared to fly to the US after 6-year ban

Kericho-based popular disc jockey George Njuguna, alias DJ Creme Dela Creme can now visit the Unites Statedof America (USA) following the expiry of his 6-year ban.

The DJ made the good news through his social media pages, further revealing that plans to visit the country once again are underway.

“So six years ago, I got banned from the USA. The ban expired last month, so mimi stato huyo,” he wrote.

Reacting to the news, DJ Creme’s sister Murugi revealed how she was informed of his brother’s arrest in the US.

“I will never forget that call from homeland security; I thought you were joking by trying to weng, and I’m like, ‘Geogy acha ufala, ulifika?’ Little did I know that someone was in an orange overall in a cell,” wrote Murugi.

DJ Creme was arrested and deported from the United States for trying to enter the country without proper documentation.

The DJ was travelling to the country for a serious of shows after being invited by America based Kenyan promoter Tall Under Genge entertainment.

Although he was equipped with a tourist visa, he required a business visa to perform in the shows.

American authorities intercepted him as soon as he touched down at the Dallas airport.
