There was drama in court as a businessman who is facing fraud allegations shocked attendees yesterday after he attempted to display his privates in court.
He claimed that he was brutally assaulted by police officers from Central Police Station in Nairobi after his arrest.
Clement Odera alias Hamisi was arraigned before Milimani Chief Magistrate Micheni Wendy with allegations of conspiracy to defraud a job seeker at the Judiciary The charge sheet stated that Odera between November 1, 2021, and October 25 conspired with another person yet to be arrested to defraud Christo pher Nyalenda Sino Sh1,866,000 by falsely pretending that he would help him secure a job at the Judiciary as a driver.
He further charged with obtaining Sh1,866,000 from Sino by falsely pretending he would help him secure a job at the Judiciary. It is said the accused person obtained the money by false pretence that he would facilitate him get the driver job at the Judiciary as he has connections with a commissioner at the Judicial Service Commission.
However, Odera surprised the court by attempting to undress, telling the magistrate that his private parts were swollen due to the injuries he sustained after being beaten by police officers forcing him to admit the charges
