There will be traffic disruptions along the Eastern By-pass in Nairobi expected to last for three days.

Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) on Sunday, January 29, 2023, announced the free flow of traffic will be disrupted to allow the contractor maintaining the road to lay the final surface dressing at the section between Embakasi Barracks and CRBC site camp.

In a notice to members of the public, KURA said the road works will begin as from 6:00 am Monday 30th January 2023 till 6:00 pm Wednesday 1st February 2023.

The authority advised motorists to drive with caution as they approach the section.

“Traffic marshals and police will be on-site to guide motorists so as to enable a smooth flow of traffic,” KURA said.

“Kindly bear with the situation as we endeavour to Enhance Urban Mobility.”
