Top Kenyan comic Eric Omondi has urged Kenyan celebrities to take notes from the ongoing feud between Tanzania artistes Rayvanny and Harmonize.
The comedian said Kenyan musicians have become boring despite released good songs.
He argues that as much as they put efforts in producing good songs they should in equal measure focus on showbiz to promote their work and make money out of it.
Eric explained that Harmonize and Rayvannt are using the it beef to promote their music and make money.
“What Harmonize and Rayvanny are doing is showbiz. Kenyan artists should wake up. These two are using a created beef to promote their new songs, yet our artists here are sleeping and boring. Yaani, everyone is talking about Tanzanian artists. They are earning millions from those kinds of beef
“Stop being boring; entertainment is not all about singing. We know Rayvanny and Harmonize can sing, but they are now being diverse. They are adding flavour to their songs. That is where entertainment is failing,” said Eric.
While still at it, Eric commended gospel singer Ringtone for using showbiz to promote his new songs.
He, however, advised Ringtone tocomwup with new stunts than the one repeated over the years.
