Stanley Githunguri, a former Kiambaa member of parliament, has passed away.
The businessman-turned-politician passed away at a Nairobi hospital, according to his family.
His daughters had previously disclosed to the court during a dispute over property that their father had kidney failure and high blood pressure.
As a committed public servant, Githunguri was lamented by the current Kiambaa MP John Njuguna Kawanjiku.
“I interacted with Githunguri as a young man, he was a dedicated leader who was committed to the welfare of his people,” Kawanjiku said.
