The family of a man who was allegedly knocked down and killed by a motor vehicle that was being driven by Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai’s son is now accusing officers involved in the matter of frustrating them.
Stephen Musyoka was hit by a car that according to police officers was being driven by David Mwendwa who is the son of Mutyambai.
On Sunday, December 5, Musyoka’s family through his brother Emmanuel Mwaniki and his father Joseph Mutemi said that they were not satisfied with the manner in which the matter was being handled.
“The officers are not honest as they do not give a clear explanation of what really transpired leading to the death of our kin,” Mwaniki said.
“We needed information of what transpired but whenever we go to Lang’ata Police Station, we are told to first bury our kin then get the information later,” he further said.
The family members revealed that the deceased has left behind a wife and a one-year-old child.
