A first-time mother on Tuesday evening gave birth to five children at Nakuru Level 5 hospital.
The mother and the quintuplets are currently at the facility, according to Dr. Aisha Maina, medical superintendent of Nakuru Level 5 Hospital.
After doctors learned that the 25-year-old woman is carrying quintuplets, they hurried her to the operating room on Tuesday.
The hospital’s Newborn unit is able to accommodate the five patients—a boy and four girls—according to Dr. Aisha.
