Funeral date for DJ Babu Dubai also known as Robert Kinuthia Njuguna has been set.
The fallen DJ will be buried on Friday 11th August, 2023 in Murang’a County.
Dj Babu, a Kenyan Dj based in Dubai passed on after he was involved in a tragic road accident. According to reports, DJ Babu was pronounced dead after the car he was in rolled.
Announcing the sad news, Kenyan DJ Crème de la Crème, said he was in shock as he had been constantly in communication with Babu and was a huge fan of his work.
“King, it’s just the worst news I have heard thus far. We just talked the other day G. Thank you Babu for the good vibes, the gigs and for sharing your gift of music with us. Fly well my brother, we shall do this again someday,” Creme said in an Instagram post.

Beloved son of Peter Njuguna Kinuthia and Margaret Wanjiku Njuguna.
A loving fiancee to Winnie Moraa. Father to Tamar Wairimu Kinuthia and Shanice Laika Wanjiku.
Brother to Denis Maina Njuguna and Beatrice Wangui Njuguna and cousin to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at their residence in Thika, Happy Valley Estate (Landless), Dodoma Street from 5.30pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma – Kabati on Friday 11th August, 2023 at 8.00am. The funeral service will be held at 9.30am at St. Joseph Mukasa Catholic Church, Thika Happy Valley Estate (Landless), and thereafter, interment in Karuru 2 Village, Gatundu Mugoiri, Location, Murang’a County.
