Indiana University of Pennsylvania, located in the heart of Indiana, in the state of Pennsylvania (The Keystone State), is a beautiful institution that has been in existence for 147 years. During this trip, the Kenya Airlift Program co-founders Bob Mwiti, who is an alumni of the school and DMK Kiogora, as well as Team Lead Manager Wilfred Mwiti, visited the school to sign the school’s official partnership with the program.
The visit was fruitful because the school administration and faculty members were very enthusiastic about the program. Some of the goodies for students who will be studying there include not having to do transcripts evaluation, which is a time-consuming process of sending one’s transcripts to an evaluation institution before receiving admission. Second, instead of the out-of-state tuition fees required of international students, the students will pay in-state tuition. Furthermore, this school’s application fees will be waived, and students will be considered for graduate assistantship awards.
