Caroline Kajeri, Samson Koome’s wife of 11 years, is said to have been stabbed after an argument about Caroline’s propensity to sleep on the couch rather than in their bed.

According to Mombasa County Police Commander Stephen Matu, the suspect had been detained at Central Police Station after being arrested.
He said: “He was arrested yesterday following the incident. He is being processed to be arraigned in court in connection to the murder, however, investigations and recording of statements from key witnesses and the suspect to establish what transpired is still ongoing.”
The head of the county police urged couples to find peaceful ways to settle domestic disputes.
He said: “We encourage those married, or those living together as couples to resolve matrimonial issues in a manner that will not lead to death. Let us find ways of dealing with issues in a peaceful way.”
