The government reports that two days after the Husler Fund loan product was introduced, at least Ksh7.7 million had been repaid.
According to data made public by the government, the total borrowed as of Thursday, December 1 at 8:30 p.m. was Ksh413 million.
More than 1.6 million Kenyans have registered, and there are now more than 880,000 borrowers.
Since the Hustler Fund was established on Wednesday, November 30, a total of Ksh408 million has been distributed, according to Simon Chelugui, Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSMEs.
He stated that about 1.14 million Kenyans have enrolled for the fund as of the time he gave the news conference.
The Hustler Fund application and the USSD code *254# can be used to access the loan.
