William Ruto, the president, has rejected any plan to modify the Constitution to increase his term limit.

Ruto cautioned the Kenya kwanza lawmakers against focusing on anything other than providing services.

Speaking at the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group Meeting held at the Statehouse in Nairobi, Ruto stated that he had no interest in seeking re-election and urged his allies in Congress to concentrate on changing laws that would help Kenyans.

“Do not spend your time pushing for selfish and self-serving legislation, like changing the Constitution to remove term limits. My focus is service to the people,” Ruto told the MPs.
