Jill Biden lands at JKIA for Kenya visit

Jill Biden, the US first lady has landed at JKIA ahead of her tw0-day visit to Kenya.

She landed in a plane called Executive 1 Foxtrot, which touched down at JKIA at 4.30 pm Kenyan time.

She was received by First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto.

East African Community CS Rebecca Miano was also present to welcome the US First Lady.
She arrived in Kenya from Namibia where she made her first stop for her five-day visit to Africa.

This is the third time she is visiting Kenya but the first as First Lady.

The focus of her visit is women’s empowerment, children’s issues and food insecurity that has ravaged parts of the continent.
