At Korompoi area Isinya sub county, Kajiado county, a young man was yesterday stabbed to death.
The deceased is said to have engaged in an argument with his roommate over a missing mattock before the dispute turned bloody.
According to neighbours, the two who eke out a living by doing manual jobs had been sharing a single room.
On the fateful day, the killer who is currently on the run is said to have searched for his missing mattock, only to establish that it had been sold by the deceased.
Confirming the incident, Isinya Subcounty police commander Ancient Kaloki said detectives are pursuing the suspect who is well known. “ The deceased was stabbed on the thigh and he might have succumbed to excessive bleeding.
Preliminary investigations points to murder. We are treating his roommate as the prime suspect. ,” confirmed Kaloki.
The body has been moved to Kitengela sub county hospital mortuary as investigations into the incident commence
