Kanini Kega, a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), criticized Raila Odinga, the head of the Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya Coalition, for hosting political rallies all across the nation.
Mr. Kega shared pictures of himself playing golf with a massive visit Rwanda billboard in the background while he is in Rwanda.
The former Kieni MP criticized political figures who organize rallies across the nation rather than promoting Kenya without mentioning Mr. Odinga by name.
“As you do your maandamanos other countries are busy marketing themselves as the destination of choice! No wonder the balance of trade is shifting in their favour!” he tweeted.
Mr Kega, who supported Mr Odinga’s presidential bid in last year’s General Election, has since switched allegiance to President William Ruto’s camp.
He is part of faction within Jubilee Party that recently staged a coup and ousted the party’s top leadership. This after the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) met in Nakuru and suspended Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni and replaced him with Mr Kega.
