Kenyan Anchor Lulu Hassan wins ‘Mwanamke wa Shoka’ Award 2022 in Tanzania

Kenyan Citizen TV anchor Lulu Hassan has been awarded the ‘Mwanamke Wa Shoka’ trophy for the year 2022 in an event organized by EFM radio and TVE in Tanzania.

Speaking during the ceremony in Tanzania on Sunday, Lulu said, “I am taking this opportunity to thank God for the far He Has brought me, but most of all, I want to say I couldn’t do this without all of you. Thank you for supporting me.”

Mwanamke wa Shoka is an annual function sponsored by EFM underneath the management of their ready CEO Francis Ciza aka Majizzo – to celebrated the she gender in completely different aspects of life.

The awards are normally held in line with International Women’s Day- a day devoted at uplifting ladies by honouring their achievements throughout the world.

Lulu’s big win has been a result of her huge contribution in the East African Movie trade through her manufacturing firm namely Jiffy Pictures.

Lulu in partnership with her good-looking husband Rashid Abdalla produced local shows that attracted many including Maria, Zora, Sultana, Aziza.
