Kenyan man reported missing in Australia, family appeals for assistance

The family of an Australia-based Kenyan man  is appealing for public assistance to locate him after he was reported missing

Erick Macharia, 27, hss been missing for over 10 days.

According to Australian authorities, Macharia was last seen on March 2, at a home on Fairmount Street in Australia.

“He has not been seen at home since that time, and has not attended work,” Australian police say.

It was discovered that he was missing about a week later and a police report was filed at Campsie Police Area Command.

“Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were notified about 8 pm yesterday (Wednesday 8 March 2023) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts. Police hold serious concerns for his welfare as this behavior is considered out of character,”

“Erick is about 185cm tall with a slim build, and with dreadlocks,” authorities said

His images and details have been shared on local area Police Force social media pages.

The family says Macharia  was a student in Australia.
