Is the truthful man a bitter man?’ NTVs Dancun Khaemba asked Rigathi Gachagua during a media interview held on the evening of 12 March 2023.
“People mistake honesty for bitterness,” said Rigathi Gachagua answered.
“Kenyans have a right to say what they want. This is a democracy,” noted Rigathi.
The second in command went ahead to hit out at the media, “You people of the media, you demeaned me, you called me names, you drew caricatures against me, you said I’m uncultured, I’m a villager but on 9 August the people of Kenya disagreed with you.”
Rigathi reiterated saying he’s a natural and no-one will ever change him.
