Rigathi Gachagua, the deputy president, was wearing a branded hoodie and cap as he traveled to Iganjo village in Nyeri district to see his lone remaining aunt.

The second in command was decked out in a grey hoodie and a yellow cap bearing his well-known moniker, “Riggy G.”

Kevin Kagwe, a multimedia graduate and graphic designer, gave the specialized gift to Rigathi, who freely accepted the moniker created by content creator Ivy Chelimo.

The gift was given to the DP on Friday, September 30, according to Kagwe, a graphic designer and professional cameraman.

“On Friday evening I visited the Deputy president H.E Rigathi Gachagua and I gifted him a hoodie and a cap both branded Riggy G,”

“Today, 5 days later, the man himself ‘Riggy G’ stepped out looking sharp in my apparel. Words cannot explain how I feel, mbele noana success (I see a bright future),” the artist shared on Facebook.

The gifted artist was overjoyed that Rigathi seemed to appreciate his kind and considerate present.

Kagwe, who graduated from Multimedia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Film Production and Animation, noted that he worked on a number of branding initiatives during the campaign.

At Kymms Family Salon, he also worked as a content producer and a digital marketer.
