Jamaica’s legendary artist Jephter Mccymont popularly known as Luciano has jetted into the country for a concert slated for the 11th of June with a message of peace to youth ahead of the elections.
‘The Messenger’ hitmaker says that this is the right time to preach peace amongst the youth.
“Luciano has received recognition for his role in spreading peace and that’s what we need right now,” said George Gichobi, CEO, Musical Safaris Group on the Reggae Singer.

Speaking after jetting into the country, Gichobi promised a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“Luciano is a legend, a priest and messenger of the good word. This event will be about sensitizing the youth to shun violence especially now that they are vulnerable ahead of the forthcoming elections. We have invested heavily in quality and most importantly security. There will be no room for insecurity,” he assured.
This came after concerned netizens questioned the legitimacy of the Ngong Racecourse venue which has been previously linked with matters of insecurity
Besides a scheduled safari drive for which the reggae star expresses undying love, the It’s me again Jah hitmaker will have a series of meetings with various youth organizations and speak positively about sharing love and shunning violence during the forthcoming elections.
The reggae icon is set to perform at a Unite the Youth themed concert and says he cannot wait to get back to the country which he considers his second home.
The event will take place this Saturday at the Waterfront, Ngong Racecourse.
DJ Bling and Bonko are set to perform among other DJs.
