Two individuals have died in two separate lorry-related traffic accidents in Machakos county.
According to police, in the first instance, a lorry driver ran over a passenger, murdered him there, and then fled the scene.
He was asked to halt by irate boda boda riders who had seen the collision and were trying to get him to give himself in.
The lorry driver drove into the back of a saloon car while attempting to elude the angry boda boda riders who were yelling at him to stop, which caused him to lose control of the lorry and drift out of his lane.
As a result, the driver struck a Mercedes Benz trailer that was approaching, starting a fire.
The lorry driver, who was fleeing from the boda boda riders, killed as he attempted to break out of his vehicle. The driver of the Mercedes hurriedly got out of the car before it was converted to ashes.
