A man who died in a dam at Toll area in Juja, Kiambu county while in the company of a female was married to another woman.
Reliable reports state that the man’s wife said her husband left the house for work on Monday and called about 7 p.m. to say he was at a meeting.
“He called me at around 7 pm and said he was in a business meeting in Juja,” she told Citizen Digital.
The man and a woman were making merry inside the man’s car which they had parked near the dam before the incident occurred on Tuesday evening.
It is reported that they had drinks in their car which they had parked near the water.
It is reported that the couple was seen enjoying themselves for over an hour before an argument broke out.
It is then that the man then turned the engine on and put it in reverse. They drowned as the vehicle sank into the water.
Those nearby alerted divers in the area as attempts to rescue the two unidentified lovers increased.
