Instances of Kenyans being arrested trafficking marijuana have increased recently, and the government is unsure of how to address this issue that has plagued our country.

Despite reports that some political candidates for the next general elections may legalize the drug, the government has insisted that doing so is still against the law.

Two suspects are on the run and being sought by National Police Service officers for the crime they have allegedly committed, according to local media reports.

The pair is reported to have been transporting marijuana worth a staggering 45 million Kenyan shillings, which is against the law. As a result, a manhunt for the culprits was launched. The National Police Service officers have seized the bhang.

The highly trained officers responded to the incidence Saturday afternoon at the Dambala Fatana Trade Center, which is located along the busy Moyale  Isiolo Highway.
