Lawyer turned vlogger Maureen Waititu has expressed how worried she had been about losing her source of income after being locked out of social media.
The mother of two sons had been locked out of her Instagram account which has more than half a million followers.
She explained:
“Tears of joy and a heart filled with gratitude! That’s what I have tonight.
A few days ago, my account got compromised and I got locked out. I’ve been so devastated and defeated because this page is bigger than me-it’s a huge source of income for me & my kiddos.
It’s my place of work and there exists a community (aka all of you whom I love very much ❤️), a place that has been my rock.
A place I have built and put in a lot of hard work, a place I am able to express my art, bring inspiration and my clients closer to you.”
She was grateful to those who supported her during those tough days
“I am but forever grateful to all my friends @wahukagwi , @namelesskenya @daddiemarto among others, my super amazing support system,.
My very understanding clients plus the IG/Facebook team who really helped me get here🙏🏾.In those few days, I’ve learnt a lot.
