The death of a teacher at Got Kachacha Secondary School in Suna West, Migori County, who was discovered dead inside a latrine, has been the subject of a police inquiry.
The 32-year-old male teacher was discovered dead inside the restroom on Tuesday evening by students who had gone to clean it, according to Suna East Sub county police commander Esau Ochorokodi.
He drew attention to the fact that the deceased’s body was propped up against the wall of the lavatory.
The deceased had been observed leaving for the bathroom earlier in the day, according to the police chief, but had since vanished.
His body is being kept at the mortuary of the Migori Referral Hospital as police try to determine the cause of his death.
