At today’s funeral for former Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha, President William Ruto, his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta, and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga might share the podium.
This is despite the fact that the family yesterday requested that political figures not use the burial as a platform.
According to a schedule made public by Mr. Odinga’s office this week, he had confirmed attendance by last night.
However, State House had not yet announced if the Head of State would attend the event at the time of publication.
Prof Magoha is being laid to rest in Umiru village, Gem Sub-County in Siaya County, today.
