A candidate for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination in the county of Nyandarua missed the examinations yesterday as a result of the boda boda accident he was engaged in last week, which resulted in his admission to the intensive care unit (ICU).
The candidate for St. Joseph Ol Kalou Primary School is reportedly being treated at Kenyatta National Hospital, according to County Director of Education Philip Wambua.
“The boy was hit by a motorcycle in Ol Kalou town last Friday and it is unfortunate that he went into a coma. We have communicated and if he regains conscientiousness he can sit for the examination in Nairobi,” he said.
