Pastor James Ng’ang’a, the founder of Neno Evangelism, sparked controversy online when he made a joke about understanding the price of “whiskey.”
The contentious man of God said in an undated TikTok video that everyone who is wealthy in Kenya drinks alcohol.
“There is no wealthy person who does not eat meat or drink alcohol,” he said.
Ng’ang’a went on to brag about rich people having class.
“Rich people do not drink this cheap alcohol, they drink special alcohol. One bottle costs Sh30,000,” he said.
Asked how he knew about that yet he is a man of God, Ng’ang’a told his congregation he is not a fool.
“Ati nilijulia wapi? You think I am a fool like you? I am not a small baby like you. Who told you I am a pastor? Pastors are the ones seated here,” he said.
This is not the first-time pastor Ng’ang’a has been controversial with his preaching. In yet another video, he told single people to stop living alone like mad people.
“Marry whoever you want because a wife is yours,” he said.
