Pesapal, a facilitator of payment solutions, was awarded the Visa Innovator for 2021, confirming its leadership role in offering cutting-edge digital financial services for customers and businesses in Kenya and across East Africa.
The annual Innovator Award honors Fintechs (financial technology firms) that collaborate with banks to create new transaction solutions through innovative payment methods such as Visa Direct, tokenization, and electronic wallet. On January 27, 2022, the winners of this year’s competition were declared at an award event in Nairobi.
Customers have come to favor digital financing options with as few steps as possible, according to Pesapal’s Brand Manager, Janette Ronoh.
We must adapt and react to market demands by offering goods that provide clients with a faster and more seamless experience, regardless they pay online or in a physical store.
“We are honored to receive the Visa Innovator Award. This recognition reflects the strength of our merchant payment solutions in meeting the current and emerging needs of the customers,” Ms. Ronoh said.
