Azimio la Umoja One Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga has attended the Bunge La Wananchi open session at the Jeevanjee gardens, Nairobi. Speaking at the open forum, the former prime minister warned that those “who stole my victory would one day pay for their sins.”
“I am honoured to have had an invigorating sit down at the invitation of Bunge La Wananchi – Jevanjee Gardens chapter. I listened and encouraged them to remain vigilant of our hard-won constitutional rights. Freedom of association/speech is a key pillar of our democracy,” Odinga wrote on his social media platforms.
“These thieves who tried stealing our victory, their days are numbered. Every thief has their day. When their day comes, you will see. I am patient,” Raila said on Tuesday, October 11.
“I feel the same way Kenyans feel. The cost of living has gone up, the price of unga, fuel, fare have all gone up but incomes have remained the same. It’s very painful,” he added. While blaming Ruto’s administration for making life unbearable for Kenyas, the ODM leader defended former president Uhuru Kenyatta on subsidies.
