Dr. Esther Thaara Muhoria is fortunate to have been chosen to serve as the Technical Vocational Training Institutes (TVETs) department’s Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Education.
On November 2, after being approved by the county Assembly, she was sworn in as the secretary of Embu County.
Before learning of her nomination by the President, she had only been in office for a few hours.
Having worked as a register at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Dr. Muhoria is regarded as being particularly attentive on issues of leadership and education (JKUAT).
Her eloquence before Embu county assembly committee on administration and public service moved the committee members that approved her name to serve as the County Secretary.
When she was being vetted for the position, she promised to help Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire deliver health services to locals and fight corruption.
