Samson Cherargei , the Nandi Senator has advised President William Ruto to dismiss retired President Uhuru Kenyatta as his peace envoy for the Great Lakes Region and the Horn of Africa.
Mr. Cherargei claims that the position should now be offered to Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, whom he hailed for attending yesterday’s Mashujaa Day celebrations that were presided over by the Head of State.
Cherargei claims that the former Commander-In-Chief should be saved from the burden of the diplomatic job since he is allegedly busy with Azimio-OKA activities.
He tweeted: “H.E Musyoka by attending Mashujaa day yesterday pledged loyalty to H.E Ruto’s govt & patriotic; he should be appointed to be special envoy on peace to replace Uhuru who is busy with Azimio-OKA activities; Kalonzo in future shall not miscalculate himself again politically.”
