May Kevin Oselu, better known by his TikTok handle Baba Mona, his daughter Mona, and two of his sisters are reported to have perished tragically in a car mishap on Friday night in Kericho County. The collision happened close to the Tunnel Trading Center in the Marenda Sub-location, on the Londiani-Muhoroni route.
According to eyewitnesses, a dark blue saloon vehicle carrying the family members ran off the road and collided with some guard rails. The collision left the vehicle in a wrecked state. The three adult occupants suffered various injuries, and a child was thrown off the car.
According to reports, the infant passed away while being transported to the close-by Fort Terran Hospital. The other three casualties, which also included Baba Mona and his daughter, later passed away from their wounds there.
All four of the riders, according to the police, were family members going to the Kandege neighborhood in Koru, Muhoroni.
On TikTok, Baba Mona was a well-liked content producer who gained a sizable following for his audience-friendly guidance. He primarily produced Luo-language material, which was well-liked by young people.
A number of fans paid homage to Baba Mona and his family on social media. Many recalled his extraordinary talent for creating material, and others offered their sympathies to the family.

The bodies have been transported by the police to the mortuary at St. Vincent’s hospital, and an inquiry into the accident started.
