Following the announcement that his baby mom, senatorial candidate Karen Nyamu, had dumped him, Mugiithi musician Samidoh broke the quiet.
After having a tense interaction with Samidoh’s wife in Dubai on Saturday, Karen claimed that alcohol was to blame for her bizarre behavior on his Dubai Mugithii show.
Karen continued by saying that she consciously chose to break her relationship with Samidoh, the father of her two children.
She clarified that the reason she had announced the breakup publicly was that their relationship was in the public.
“I know I could have called him and ended it quietly but I decided to make this as public as the drama and controversy has been. Great and powerful women will attest that many times our weakest link is the men we get involved with. I am stopping the pattern.”
Through his Facebook page, Samidoh responded to Shiro Kariuki, a fan who asked him if he was aware that Senator Karen Nyamu had dumped him.
“Samidoh, wacha kujifanya hujui uliachwa na [Karen] Nyamu. (Stop pretending as if you don’t know you were dumped by Nyamu)
Samidoh sarcastically responded to the comment asking how much he would be paid if he knew about that.
“Mtu akijua analipwa aje? (So how much will I be paid for that piece of information?)”
