Kenyans online have come out guns blazing after the son to former Kemri boss Prof Davy Koech after he revealed that his relationship with his father was strained.
Kiigen Koech on a Twitter post said he many not have been a perfect son, but the father too was not perfect or even appreciative.
He posted a photo of himself kissing his father’s clean shaven head and captioned: “As a son, I did everything for you Prof. Davy Koech. Our Father and Son relationship was second to none. Now I wonder if it exists. I may not be a perfect son, but neither are you appreciative or a perfect father. My love was loyalty but my returns were MADHARAU! DISGRUNTLED! ”
The post has so far attracted over 2,000 comments with users differing on whether that was the right call for a son to post about the father.
One user Mihr Thakar wrote: “A father will never be appreciated while alive. ”
Wesley_Kibande opined: ” Even if he’s from hell. No child should what this clout chaser is doing.”
