Thousands have today flooded Mombasa gubernatorial aspirant Mike Sonko’s campaigns in Shanzu during the commissioning of the chief’s office constructed through the CDF kitty.
Sonko who took lead in Mizani opinion polls released yesterday has remained objective to the core and has pledged to change the history of unemployment and insecurity in Mombasa.
Speaking during the event in Kisauni Constituency, Sonko told his supporters that he is being fought from all directions but he holds what it takes to restore the initial image of the coastal region by creating opportunities, improving the economy of the county, and ensuring the supply of clean water.
“Our dream is big. Just like what Mombasa residents have been craving. It has taken ages but victory is coming. It’s time for real change, and, with Allah’s guidance, we will win this. Victory will be for the Mombasa people,” he stated.
He said together with his gubernatorial running mate and Kisauni MP Hon Ali Menza Mbogo fit the needs of residents of Mombasa as the time for politics is over and people now yearn for development and undelayed service delivery.
“The chief’s office being launched today is one of the best in the country and this shows how committed Hon Mbogo has been for the good of the people. To my Mombasa people, God willing, my administration has a very big win for you. To the body bodas, tuk-tuk operators, hawkers, matatu operators, and miraa traders, among others, I have heard your cries. Be assured of my full support. You’ll never suffer again,” he further told the cheering crowd
